We are seeking a mechanical engineer to join the R&D department of an aesthetic medical device company. In this position you will be creating detailed designs of multidisciplinary projects while working on multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be closely working with other teams within the R&D department (software, electronics, physics, NPI) and the engineering team. You will work with subcontractors in Israel and abroad and validate the supplied parts/assemblies.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in multidisciplinary mechanical design – a must.
- Experience in a medical device company – advantageous.
- Experience with the following manufacturing methods and working with subcontractors – a must:
- Machining (turning, milling, etc.).
- Sheet metal fabrication (bending, laser cutting, etc.).
- Experience in design for mass production – a must.
- Experience in designing moving mechanisms, optomechanical assemblies, plastic injection molded parts, and heat exchange systems – advantageous.
- Experience in producing detailed part and assembly drawings and supporting transfer to production – a must.
- Experience with EPDM materials and applications – advantageous.
- Experience working with surface modeling (SolidWorks surfaces) – advantageous.
- Mechanical Engineering degree – a must.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks – a must.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
